Winter Weather Prep

❄️ FREEZING WEATHER – REQUIRED STEPS ❄️

Do ALL of these before freezing temperatures

🚿 OUTSIDE

• REMOVE all water hoses

• COVER all outside faucets (spigots)

🧱 CRAWL SPACES

• Make sure crawl space covers are ON

• If a cover is missing, TEXT US IMMEDIATELY

• Do NOT leave crawl spaces open

🚰 INSIDE WATER

• OPEN cabinet doors under sinks in KITCHEN and BATHROOM

• LET faucets drip when temps are below freezing

🔥 HEAT

• KEEP HEAT ON AT ALL TIMES

• SET thermostat to at least 65°

• DO NOT turn heat off even if you leave

🧺 WASHER / GARAGE

• Make sure your garage doors are closed up

• If washer is in the garage:

  • Add a small space heater

  • Keep garage above freezing

🚨 IMPORTANT

• Frozen pipes cause serious damage

• Damage caused by not following these steps may be charged to the tenant
